Without
exaggerating, Chris can be counted to the most successful house
DJs in the Cologne/Bonn region for the last 10 years.
Born in Bergisch-Gladbach his interest in music started at the early
age of 6 when he began playing the flute. 4
years later he started playing the piano and was taught classical
music. In the following years he developed an interest in Soul and
Funk and started buying his own records. In his teens, at 16 he
first came in contact with Chicago House and was hooked from then
on! Shortly afterwards he started his DJ career.
At 18 Chris moved over to San Fransisco where he
had his first international giggs with DJ Buck Spinzz, DJ Garth
and Chris Galvin. Back in Germany he launched the legendary High
Noon@Warehouse / Cologne with Oliver Bondzio and P.A-Trick where
he heated up the thrilled crowd with his house sound. Simultaneously
he started producing his own tracks, of which some of them are released
on samplers such as Discopolitan, Nightmove und Warehouse Allstars.
His DJ career continued to flourish and soon he
had booking in known clubs such as Tribehouse (Düsseldorf),
Chemistry (A´dam), Mazzo (A´dam), spinning vinyl with
the likes of Juan Atkins, Mike Dunn, Eddie DeClerck, Blake Baxter
und Jerome Pacman.
"These are the DJs that most inspired me to
understand the definition of music "
1996 he first played in the "Undercity Rave"
in Croatia. It turned out to be the beginning of a long and close
connection to the east European house scene. In recurring gigs he
laid on the decks in venues such as Kulusic(Zagreb), Aquarius (Zagreb),
Up and Down (Split), K4 (Ljubliana/SLO) and can still be heard at
several parties throughout eastern Europe.
In 1999 the legendary Livingroom-Club first came
on the scene where Chris has been raising the temperature of the
crowds with his driving houses sets for 5 years. Since the beginning
of the year, the Taboo Party in coalition with the label can be
added to the list of achievements. It is these 2 parties where home
produced tracks are tested and judged.
"If the tracks go down well with the crowd
here, I just know they are good!!".
